This really has a very easily identified vision, the concept of the zebras running out of the painting is appealing and entertaining. It drew me in and made me want to examine the painting more thoroughly.

I've seen similar paintings of horses (mostly in chalk on side walks or in malls) but I've not seen many that include a fantastic sunset effect behind them. This makes the art seem magical, makes me think of C.S. Lewis stories where the animals and people are able to go from one world into another and back again.

As to technique I can say that the intended effect is well established. 90% of the painting really comes out at me. The left zebra's snout between the eyes and the nose seems a little bit flat compared to the rest of the painting, otherwise depth and perspective are perfectly managed.

I think I've already discussed the painting's impact, but let me say it again; this painting really draws me in. Sets my mind to a fantasy world where the zebras are entering my world. I feel like I almost need to watch them carefully in case they change directions, I could be mowed down!

All in all, FANTASTIC work. Truly amazing.

Wow, its amazingly awesome. I love the blues behind the zebras. They really seem to come right out of the painting at you. Incredible.
